Dave Witt (in red), an International Teams’ ministry worker in Hamilton, leads the pack of cyclists in the Oct. 13 Hamilton area ‘Ride For Refugees’. The event attracted a total of 500 riders for the Hamilton, Waterloo and Brantford rides, raising more than $200,000 for refugee ministry locally and globally. Hamilton’s Micah House and True City are the major local beneficiaries.

The master of ceremonies was the ‘Voice of the Toronto Raptors’ Herbie Kuhn (left), and the event was hosted by the Carpenteros and Friends, represented by Ken VanderLaan, with all proceeds to support micro-credit and community development in Latin America.
